Professor Waller is a highly respected academic who holds the position of Professor of Digital Transformation Policy and Governance at the University of the West Indies. Over the past decade, Professor Waller has made significant contributions to the academic world, with over 100 publications to his name. These publications cover a wide range of topics, including digital transformation, ICT for development, tourism resilience, research methods, electronic governance, and innovations in governance.

In addition to his academic work, Professor Waller has been involved in managing various research projects at the local, regional, and international levels within his areas of expertise. He also holds important roles on national, regional, and international committees and boards. Notably, he serves as the Executive Director of the Global Tourism Resilience and Crisis Management Centre and holds the position of Senior Advisor to the Minister of Tourism in Jamaica.
