Developing Our Spas

Skincare Product Development Workshop

The Health and Wellness Network has identified wellness products, especially those which can be produced and manufactured locally and utilized in spas, as a core aspect of its strategy to develop Jamaica’s health and wellness tourism product. In keeping with this mandate, the Network has worked with private and public sector entities to facilitate capacity building for spa stakeholders in relation to product development.

The Network has coordinated a series of natural skincare product development workshops across the island with the following objectives:

To provide information and develop skills of industry personnel on the use and importance of natural products in the Spa Industry

To promote natural product innovation from plant-based ingredients and spur the development of home gown skin care product lines.

To enhance health and wellness of end consumers or beneficiaries of natural product use or application
