Mrs Carolyn McDonald-Riley
Director, Tourism Linkages Network, Tourism Enhancement Fund

Currently the Director of the Tourism Linkages Network, Carolyn McDonald-Riley has primary responsibility for the coordination and implementation of effective and sustainable strategies to strengthen and facilitate linkages between tourism and other economic sectors.

Her previous experience includes serving in the capacity of Economist for the Ministry of Tourism where she administered the incentives schemes of the tourism sector, monitored the tourism industry performance, and analyzed the impact on economic opportunities for the tourism industry.  During her tenure she played an integral role in the development of several policies geared at sustainability, diversification, growth and promoting efficiency within the industry.  In 2006 she was the Ministry of Tourism’s nominee for the Civil Servant of the Year Award. 

Mrs. Riley is an Attorney at law, qualified to practice in Jamaica. She is also a certified mediator with the Dispute Resolution Foundation. Her qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from the University of the West Indies in Finance and Public Sector Management and a Bachelor of Science in Economics.
