Joy Roberts’ journey with the tourism industry began in 1977 when she joined the national airline, Air Jamaica. She spent 6 years there learning the intricacies of the industry chief among them in customer service and operations. She was drawn from Air Jamaica back into entrepreneurship when she started a travel agency. At a time when not many persons were offering tours in the Caribbean, as a tour operator, she packaged and offered varied tour packages. Over the years Ms. Roberts has offered consultancy service to airlines/ the travel industry in general.

She also has been invited to serve on several boards both locally and overseas and is the cofounder of Kiwanis Club of Lauderhill and the Lauderhill Chamber of Commerce, respectively. Ms. Roberts is a licensed real estate broker and holds two master’s degrees: one in Business Administration and another in Real Estate.
